KJ and Dan have trouble communicating. After several years of a strained relationship, a couple takes a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse trapped in a sticky trap. They disagree on how to proceed, with KJ advocating a quick death while Dan suggests making the mouse’s last moments as comfortable as possible. The couple agrees to a compromise and moves on, slowly finding their way around this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their tranquility is disrupted by the arrival of a petite woman who can only be described as “eccentric”—she’s the host’s younger sister, and she had no idea anyone was staying at the family cabin. It’s okay to get stuck, right? As the couple struggles to reconcile this interloper with their already tense dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this pesky third wheel could threaten more than just their relationship…
