The Well Performed by Ginny Vee
A budding art restorer travels to a small Italian town to restore a medieval painting to its former glory. What she doesn’t know is that she’s putting her life in danger from an evil curse and a monster born of myth and brutal pain. Lauren Lavera stated that she’s only seen part of this movie.
It started out promising
Then the torture started. And long. It was definitely trying to do something Argento-esque, especially in the music.
Oh, the daughter
And with the daughter. Boy, she’s an actress beyond her years, that’s for sure. I guess her out-of-place maturity factors into the plot’s resolution.
Much of the movie is stupid and messy
But there’s no indication as to why she has a fully formed American English accent emanating from her face. But she’ll be a dramatic force that outshines Asia with skills like that. And the weird epilogue was meant as something of a sequel and a genre-bender, I imagine.
