Spinning this way doesn’t push or pull air
Men and women live in a giant underground silo with different rules that they believe are in place to protect them from the toxic, ruined world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is all about. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book “Wool” – the book has 82 chapters. The fans on the floor in several episodes spin the wrong way, compared to the orientation of the blades.
I really enjoyed Silo
Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows You Need to Watch in 2023 (2023). It’s my kind of show. I love mystery and suspense. I had not read or heard of the books Silo is based on.
The story is good and interesting
The show is set 140 years after the apocalypse. The 10,000 remaining people live in a silo and have never left the silo. They don’t even know what stars are. They do know, however, that leaving the silo is fatal.
The acting is good, as is the character development
Some people choose to leave to learn more, but they always die. Those who remain in the silo can watch through a window whenever someone wants to leave and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson has the lead role of Juliette Nichols, who tries to find out what’s outside the silo and why she can’t get out without dying. However, the pacing can be a bit slow, as there are some filler episodes.
I can’t wait for the second season, with more suspense, mystery, and answers about what’s happening outside the silo!
They could have definitely shortened the series by at least two episodes, but it doesn’t bother me that much, because the series as a whole is very good.
