Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite with a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike any they’ve faced before. Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Krysten Ritter, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, and Lee Majdoub have hobbies that might surprise their fans. Both Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2001) and the solo game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) have been cited as inspirations by the makers of the previous films. The film was also inspired by narrative elements of the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993).

At the end of the second film, Sonic calls Tom father. But in this film, he still calls her by her first name. Commander Walters: [about Shadow] The Shadow Project is beyond anything we’ve ever encountered. But where you found family and friends, Shadow found only pain and loss.

SPOILER: There’s a scene in the final movie where Sonic arrives at New York State Park and is confronted by an army of Metal Sonic robots, but Amy saves him. Rose.. Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is hands down the best of the trilogy. The best writing, the best acting, great humor, and Keanu Reeves is a delight as the Shadow.
GeraldBen Schwartz, Colleen & Idris shone brighter than ever
This movie is different from the first two, especially in the tone of the movie, this movie is a soulful adaptation of Sonic Adventure 2 and it was handled better than I ever thought it would be. Shadow’s backstory is portrayed as hauntingly beautiful, not to mention his immaculate CGI model, I was so impressed with his looks. Jim Carrey was hilarious as usual, he was a real pleasure in our franchise, he was hilariously awesome as both Ivo and Ivo. As a huge Sonic fan, this movie lived up to my expectations, what it means to be a Sonic fan!
